Hi, I’m Sarah. I turn expertise into learning that makes sense.

Meet Sarah · The person behind the edit

A teacher’s heart.
A designer’s eye.
Your next good idea.

Hi, I’m Sarah. I help turn what you know into learning people can understand, practice, and use.

From the classroom to the studio

Good learning has something for people to do.

My starting question: what should someone be able to do with this?

I’m an educator and instructional designer with a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology.

Teaching shapes how I approach every project: start with the learner, make the purpose clear, and give people a meaningful opportunity to use what they learn.

Through The Instruction Edit, I create custom courses, workshop materials, and learning websites for consultants, training teams, and education organizations.

You bring the subject expertise. I bring learning structure, writing, and visual design. Together, we give your ideas a clear path from explanation to practice.

A peek inside the process

Bring the idea.
We’ll find its shape.

1

Find the point.

We start with your audience, your goals, and the materials you already have. What matters most—and what should learners be able to do?

2

Make it click.

We agree on the scope, then give the experience structure, purposeful practice, and a visual style that supports the learning.

3

Refine together.

You review the work. We use your feedback to sharpen the agreed experience and prepare the finished materials.

Your idea, next

A course? A workshop?
A better home for your resources?

Tell me what you’re creating and where you could use a hand.

Practical, collaborative learning design.

We begin with your audience, your goals, and the materials you already have. Then we agree on the scope, develop the experience, and refine it together. The aim is clear, useful work—not more content for its own sake.
